1966 Volvo P1800S Chrome Additional Info:

This 1966 Volvo P1800 is in original condition. It has been repainted at some point as it was originally a blue color. The previous owner owned it for twenty years and had the engine rebuilt. Exactly how many miles put on it since the rebuild is unknown but according to them they didn't drive it much after the rebuild. When I purchased it it was in a storage unit and had been stored in there for some years. By merely checking the fluids and putting in fresh gas it fired right. It runs good and sounds good. I drove it around my neighborhood at low speeds as I did not know how the brakes would perform. It shifted good and stopped. That's the extent of my driving it. It has the original Volvo engine and dual carb set up. It also has the four speed standard transmission. All glass is in good shape and both windows go up and down as well as both wing windows open and close. While the body is straight it does have some rust bubbles under the paint in some spots. Great P1800 to drive as is or restore to your liking. As you know it's getting harder to find these P1800's at a decent price.
