1992 Volvo 240 Additional Info:
For your consideration is a 1992 VOLVO 245 GL Wagon. We bought this wagon used from a college student and our son used it for 2 years in highschool and first year of college. It had 165,000 miles on it then and our son put another 40K plus on it.He has moved on to a new car so its time to pass her on to another college student or young family that wants a safety tank of a car.She has had her oil changed every 5K miles by one of the best VOLVO mechanics in Atlanta.
If you're looking, you know how safe and reliable these tanks are!
For a 24-year-old car, she has her minor dings and paint spots. She needs a minor tune up only because she needs to warm up in the am, after that she will run forever.Air blows cold, Swedish heater will toast you fast.3 tires are fairly new, 1 may need replacing in 25K or so.Brakes recently done.Sony CD player installed by Best Buy a couple fo years ago.Couple windows need new switches.Volvo vinyl trunk included
Title shows salvage as theprevious owner got rear ended and the rear window was busted. His insurancecould not find a replacement so they declared the car totaled and he had the repairs done himself after finding a rear window. When I bought it I had to deal with the DMV and rectify the situation.Just declaring all.
Basically, she is not new but very reliable. 2 weeks ago, we took her on a 6 hour, one way, drive to Memphis with zero issues.
These wagons are becoming very hard to find, and there are only a couple in bad shape on eBay.
$300 immediate deposit required and you pick up in No. Atlanta.
FYI: I also posted on Craigslist so whoever gets her first!!
