1961 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Karmann Convertible Additional Info:

Selling my 1961 Karmann Convertible.Selling my Gulf Blue 1961 Convertible. It is clean titled as a convertible and is still the original pan. This is the last year of the early vw verts. It is not perfect, but is a sweet ride and a guaranteed head turner. Many parts on this car are not perfect, but are original german (which matters more than shiny Chinese aftermarket garbage). There are some paint flaws as noted and shown in photos. It is highly recommended that buyers see the car in person if possible.
This convertible has had quite the life. At some point it was cut into a baja and has been painstakingly brought back to a beautiful car again. Lots of work has been done to this car and it was built to be enjoyed as a nice summer, sunday cruiser. I can imagine how fun it would be to roll this on Highway 1.
New pan halves have been welded in.
It has a 5" narrowed adjustable beam with custom shock towers that do not cut into the apron at all.
There are 3" drop plates in the rear.
NEW SUPPORT RAILS Welded in.

New 62-67 gas tank installed, PLUS I have the original 61 only tank that goes with it.

All new interior is the correct Medium Grey and White.
