1963 Volkswagen Beetle. This is a good running and driving 1963 Beetle. I have a clean Utah title in my name. Please check my feedback score on EBay. I have over 1300 positive feedbacks and no negative strikes. I highly value my EBay feedback score and, with this in mind, I will outline both the positive and negative aspects of my 1963 Beetle. The reason I'm selling the Beetle is to have the funds needed to restore my 1962 Ford Sunliner. I'm 84 years old and I need to replace the top on my Ford First on the positive side: This is a good running beetle. It starts easily, drives straight, and is almost rust free. The floors are in good shape and the heater channels are rust free and heater doors slide smoothly. It comes with an after market roof rack with wooden slats. The headlights and taillights work properly, the gas gauge works, and the transmission shifts smoothly. There are no unusual sounds or smoke from the engine. With the brake work completed, you could safely drive the 1963 Beetle. All of the potentially needed brake parts are readily available and are also listed on EBay. The chrome bumpers are in good condition and all of the glass is good. The door windows roll up and down easily and the hood, trunk, and doors align properly and open a close as designed. On the negative aspects: The body, fenders, trunk and hood are dent free, but there is surface rust on the top front by the roof rack. The original paint color was red. There are no rust holes in the body or fenders. There is a rust hole in the front of the driver's side running board. The floors and pan are rust free. The back seat is complete, but is missing the upholstery. The front bucket seat are useable, but not perfect. The horn doesn't operate properly and has an intermittent short. As I mentioned above, it needs brake work. The emergency brake works well. As I also mentioned, I highly value my positive feedback score on EBay, and if you have any questions or issues with the Beetle I have missed, don't hesitate to give me a call. My name is Bob and my phone number is (801) 745-5835. If you have less than 5 (five) feedbacks on EBay, please message me or give me a call before bidding. I want to be sure this is a good straight forward action. I prefer a Bank funds transfer. I bank at Wells Fargo. If you win the auction just give me a call. Bob
