UPDATE: We are relisting our 1978 Volkswagen Super Beetle Convertible. It had sold and then the buyer canceled the purchase without cause so it has been returned to eBay. The Beetle has the upgraded Volkswagen spoked wheels which are in great shape. Upgraded the brake booster to receive disc brake conversion if so desired in the future. The body is solid and floor pans are excellent. The fuel injected 4 cylinder starts immediately and runs well. Really like the fuel injection and always starts quickly. Was driven often through (weekends mainly) the warmer months without issues. The front was damaged slightly when we bought it several years ago...Apparently it was backed into by an elderly driver and damaged the hood and the driver light assembly. Purely cosmetic and we simply straightened the damage and painted it as it was used for a homecoming parade. The top is in great condition and all the glass is clear without damage. The car can be restored or just drive and enjoy like we have done without further investment. Tires are brand new and brakes work well. The car does not leak fluids and the carpet is good shape. The front seats have normal wear from that time period for vinyl but the cushions are in good shape. The back seat is fine. The kits to cover these seats are readily available making the seat covers easy to replace if so desired. Was asked for some images of the floor pans and they always look like they had been replaced by someone at some point so they are in good shape and solid. It has been a pleasure owning this vehicle.
