RUST FREE VW CLASSIC WESTFALIA here ! Runs and drives! Just revived after about 15 years in storage / non use.
I pulled the engin, and offered up new front/ rear main seals, new starter motor, new clutch, and a few new air intake hose, as well as a new fuel pump and fuel tank flush. New battery too, of course.
Starts right up and runs and drives fine, BUT, valves are still loud, lifters may be sticking? I have only driven about 5 miles so far after resurrecting this vanagon camper.
Interior looks very nice. Tent canvas has a tear/ stain.
