1976 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Black Additional Info:

This 1976 VW Beetle Convertible has only 30,315 documented original miles and has had only two owners. Bought from Countryside Volkswagen in Torrington CT on October 19, 1976, the first owner enjoyed this Beetle, driving it only 21,779 miles until transferring it to its current owner May 8, 1991. The car was repainted in approximately 10 years ago in its original yellow finish. It originally featured fuel injection which is considered to be problematic. To make the car more trouble free the fuel injection has been removed and the VW typical carburetor was installed. The interior was also replaced to the original black vinyl as were the floor pans and heat channels. The car has four new Michelin tires with less than 100 miles on them. A new Pertronix distributer replace the original. There is documentation galore with this car which some is pictured. Original dealer envelope still has the Owners Manual, Warranty book, original odometer statement, and bill of sale, Plus much more. While really nice there are a few imperfections in that paint and the dash has two one inch cracks.(pictured) Engine was just tuned up at a cost of almost $1000. Picture of this bill is attached.
