Selling my 1971 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible. I'm selling it because I'm moving back to the east coast at the end of the month and cannot take it with me. The car has been restored and is in excellent overall shape. The underside of the vehicle has no rust and has been treated with rust protecter. It is a California car and has always been garaged. The restoration that was done was done in good taste and is incredibly nice. The yellow paint is in perfect condition besides a few minor chips, the car has been yellow its entire life. The interior is very close to perfect aside from a few small chips in the paint where the backseat is. It still has its original radio, which is very rare for these cars and it works great. The seats are perfect. Carpet is also very nice. All windows roll up and down very easily and are in great condition. The electronics all work as they should. The convertible top is like new. This car shines up beautifully and turns heads everywhere it goes.
Mechanically this is a very solid car. It has a rebuilt motor that runs like a charm and is very reliable. It just got a fresh tune up and is ready to go! It has been fitted with disk brakes on the front and new brakes on the back that make stopping incredibly easy. The car has four new tires all around.
