1981 VW Rabbit P/U.1.6L Diesel5 spd manual transmission.This is a project I started 12 years ago and just got it done enough to get out of my garage last year. It is an incomplete project. It runs and drives but still needs work. Exterior trim needs installed. Needs a windshield. Needs driver's door interior panel installed. Needs tires. Being an incomplete project it needs several other items done. Truck overall is in good condition with a rock solid body. I replaced the original 1.5L/4spd with a 1.6L/5spd. Have a cap that goes with it but it also needs re-assembled. Also have another bed/axle of a VW pickup that I was going build to be a matching trailer that can go with it if desired. Have the original eng/trans and many other spare and extra parts that can go with it if desired. I intend to continue working on it as time and weather permit but it is currently as described herein. Have a turbocharger from another VW that will fit this engine. New exhuast system with increased diameter. I would like buyer to take ALL spare & extra parts & extra bed/trailer but not absolutely necessary.Will deliver within 100 miles of 44081 at no charge; further for $1.00 per mile for each additional mile.
