Rare and collectible 1980 VW Super Beetle Convertible inTriple White titled as 1979 Model Year. VW named this the "Last Edition" model because it was the last triple white and this particular car was manufactured in the very last month of German VW Super Beetle Convertible production, January 1980. This car was an impeccable survivorbefore it was decided to give it a cosmetic makeover and total mechanicalrestoration where needed. This car features a white top in excellent condition includingpadding and headliner. All new top frame seals were installed as well as rearwindow seal and top to frame seals. All glass is original German except for newwindshield and seal. All chrome is original German and in excellent condition(including bumpers). All seat upholstery appears to be original in excellentcondition as well as padding. Door panels are original and in excellentcondition. All new carpeting, seal and sound proofing was installed. New Germanrunning boards and original gravel guards. Floor pans have zero rust and wereundercoated. The brand new $10,000 paint job inside and out (base andclearcoat) was done using original paint code L90E. Brand new Michelin tiresfront and rear. Wheels were refinished and rear wheels are rare Lemmerz Sportwheels (15 x 5.5) for better traction and handling. Fuel injected motor wastotally rebuilt including new injectors, mass air flow meter, cold start valve,fuel pump, all fuel and air lines, spark plugs and wires, belt, hoses- basicallyeverything. All new seals on body- trunk, engine lid and doors in and out. Newfuel tank, hoses, sending unit. New brakes and lines all around. Clutch fullyserviced and adjusted. All gauges work including clock and intermittent wipers!Brand new Kenwood stereo amp with high end speakers, phone, and Bluetooth. Originaljack and tools in trunk. Top boot included.
