1990 VW Vanagon NEVER had any rust because lived in Southern California dry, desert-type climate, + some years garaged *never in any body accidents (just plastic bumper cover was replaced) straight body military green. Nice interior: seats fine, (had covers to protect them) no tears, no smoking so holes nor bad odors, headliner also is intact, *strong rebuilt 2.0L Pancake engine runs like new, very strong and smooth (just tuned up by expert) most VW's sound "putt putt putt" but ours sounds like the smooth "whir" of a Porsche. Smooth-shifting Automatic tranmission newer brakes, battery, tires, shocks, belts, hoses, more. well maintained - does NOT need any mechanical work (no, does NOT have any of the typical VW oil leaks) everything works - guages, lights, etc. Some features: rack and pinion steering, power-assisted brakes, front and rear independent suspension. front bucket seats, a rear window defogger, a sliding side door, and lockable glove box. Originally came with A/C but needs the comprssor. EASY and inexpensive to register because: clean title in hand, current smog certificate for the buyer, current registration** I will pay half your plane fare to come and check. I will refund any deposit if not satisfied. drive it home!
