1984 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon Additional Info:

SOLD AS IS - WHERE IS!!! Project started by my neighbor ten years ago and never finished. His Wife finally said it was time for it to go and I ended up with it. We had to replace the bad gas in the tank (Hadn't run in 10 years) and replaced the battery and all 4 fuel injectors. Started right up and smoked like a train for a few minutes and then cleared up and has run exceptionally well since then. There are no rust issues underneath or active oil leaks since I have been driving it. Interior is original but in bad condition and will need to be completely reupholstered at some point. Shocks, CV Boots, and suspension parts are all showing bad dry rot in the rubber but functioning properly. Tires are over 10 years old showing severe dry rot, although they are currently holding air fine. Windshield and molding recently replaced and all glass is intact. Motor sounds good and runs smooth, with no know issues. Shifter linkage is worn and shift is sloppy, but transmission and clutch are functioning smoothly and correctly with no issues. Air Conditioning compressor is missing, but all the mounting brackets, hoses and electrical all seem to be there.

NOT READY AS A DAILY DRIVER. THIS IS BEING SOLD AS A CAR THAT WILL NEED WORK, NOT ONE YOU CAN DRIVE CROSS COUNTRY AT THE TIME OF SALE.
