Experience the open road in this vintage iconic very cool 1977 Volkswagen Type 2/Transporter/Bus/Van/Westpahalia camper. With its pop top roof and louvered windows, you can enjoy the scenery while resting comfortably inside. This partially restored van was rescued from a salvage yard but has a rebuilt 2000cc 2.0 liter fuel-injected 4 cylinder air-cooled engine and a manual 4 speed transmission. The original orange exterior was repainted yellow and has been partially stripped. Odd spots of rust here and there, especially above the front wheels, and some body filler on the front panel, but shhet metal/body appears to be relatively straight and comes with replacement sheet metal for the front wheel arches/steps. Doors, windows, lids, pop top and latches are all functional, including the sliding door. Glass is intact except the windshield glass does have a crack. The interior still has the original cabinetry and plaid upholstery (all cushions, including the upper bunk, are accounted for) and is ready for possible reupholstering and cleaning. Comes with a bill of sale, but this vehicle has not been titled locally.

Medical issues prevent me from finishing this project, so my loss is your gain. Still a fair amount of restoration work to be done before it is road-worthy, but the basics are there. I am not a licensed mechanic and unable to guarantee/warranty any work previously done. This 1977 VW Westphalia camper is used and sold AS IS. Has a bill of sale, but no title, so a title search/application for lost title is needed for before the vehicle can be tagged and is street legal.
Payment is due within 7 days of sale through ebay and prior to pick up. Buyer to arrange shipping within 7 days of payment. Local pick up/towing/flat-bed shipping is necessary as vehicle is unable to be driven on streets/highways. Vehicle is also for sale locally.
