1960 Volkswagen T1 single-cab utility pickup SHOW QUALITY

This VW has undergone a full rotisserie restoration as well as receiving many upgrades to modernize the truck. When it comes to the suspension it has been completely overhauled with a Wagons west narrowed front axle, adjustable rear spring plates, Wilwood front BBK, a Wolfgang International steering box, and a complete refresh of every other factory part. Thanks to the Freeway flyer transmission and 1688cc engine with dual carbs and a vintage speed exhaust it is able to comfortably maintain modern highway speeds and have enough power to get to them with ease. With the performance that has been added to the truck it has given it a new life and is an absolute joy to cruise anywhere you desire.

When it comes to the chassis and body everything was either restored or replaced. The front floor, doors and rear gates have all been replaced with KlassicFab green metal components, the bed has been bed lined and then had a white oak plank bed wood kit added on top. All of the glass is factory glass. Inside and out, top to bottom, the truck has been fully painted in L31 Dove blue with a white top, and white bumpers. To add the cherry on top the truck is rolling on a set of Escra wheels in 17x7 and 17x5.

Moving to the interior it's more of the same attention to detail and full restoration, the bench seat has been recovered in a light almost dove gray leather, the roof paneling is a light gray abs plastic. The controls that you as the driver feel have been upgraded with a Vintage speed shifter with reverse lockout, and an Aircooled accessories steering wheel. To keep an eye on the RPM of the 1688 engine an autometer tachometer has been added, the factory speedometer is still there.

As a whole this T1 pickup is near immaculate being fully restored and improved. The driving experience is far better than original and the looks are to die for.
