How many classic Beetles have you seen with factory A/C? Not too many, that's for sure! But this Triple White 1979 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible is a factory A/C car, and is in great shape throughout!
The White exterior is clean and glossy and shows very well. Subtle red pinstriping has been added to break up the white, and really pops with the chrome wheels and wide white wall tires. They call this triple white car the Last Edition.
The interior is clean and all stock with white bucket seats, black carpet, and faux wood on the dash. There has been an AM/FM/CD player added and some speakers behind the rear seat. There is also a trickle charger installed to keep the battery up while the car is stored. This is a garage kept Beetle, and it shows!
Even the underside is very solid and clean and you will notice the addition of front disc brakes! Those brakes make this little VW even easier to drive, but the car does come with the drums if you'd like to go back to stock. It also comes with extra belts, and custom neoprene seat covers that have been used to keep the original vinyl seats in such great shape. Those seat covers are black and red with flowers! A very VW "peace and love" look.
The original owner's manual and maintenance records book are in the glovebox and go with the car. Beetles are always fun and peppy, and it is a real treat to have one with Factory Air Conditioning in our showroom! The Light Sand convertible top is in great shape with no damage and it comes with a white vinyl top boot that is also in great shape. The A/C compressor clutch engages and the compressor spins. The blower motor works on all speeds, and the diverters work to send the air from the defrost, to the vents, and the floor. The air is cool, but not cold.
