1969 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Additional Info:

Okay the reason I built this car is because I live in Huntington Beach California I live real close to the beach and Pacific Coast Highway is a well-known Street for custom cars, there's always custom cars around here so I built this car so I can drive it up and down PCH during the summer The car was built for fun basically, it was just a toy for me. It was built to look like a race car and when you drive it around people really look at it and they try and race you. I've had people turn around trying to race me, but it's not really fast or anything it's just built to look like that, so also I wanted to let you know the roll cage is not functional it's just there for looks, it is just there to complete the look of a race car I made it look like a nice custom race car by adding some stripes, numbers, stickers, FAKE role cage and it's really low. it rides good it rides pretty smooth it's a little bumpy of course it's a low car but I just wanted you to know the reason I built it was just to cruise up and down the Strand it's not my daily driver or anything like that it's just a custom car that I have on the side. I wanted to let you know that as far as buying the car if you buy the car you bought the car there's no return I'm not accepting returns for the car I'm describing it to the best of my ability and it's being sold like that so make sure you look at it very carefully look at all the pictures and please ask any and all questions BEFORE making a bid, if you want you can come by and look at it my number is 562 213 2915 That's how it's going to be sold, it's going to be a no Reserve auction It's no reserve and no buy it now it's going to go for whatever it gets if it gets $1,000 it gets $1,000 I'm going to accept that but I'm hoping for a lot better than that but I'm going to accept whatever it gets and it's an honest legit auction so good luck It should be a good auction.
Hello today I'm selling a 1969 VW Beetle that I purchased a couple years ago this VW was in the process of being restored by the guy I got it from, he was fixing it up for his daughter, he owned his own body shop, he was doing all the work on it for his daughter so he was doing a really really nice job, he told me it was an original vw paint color and I believe it because it looks like the color is right for a 69 bug It's a very expensive durable type of paint. His daughter changed her mind and decided she didn't want it so he sold it to me. He went through almost everything on the car, he did it very professional at his shop, he has a shop and he does muscle cars it's really really nice itsnice and straight and smooth it's got a 1600 engine in it it's not perfect it has a few little things that need to be done still but my eyes are going out on me and I need to get rid of it I can't use it anymore so anyways it's a good car it needs work it's fully restored pretty much I have the top for it but it's not on it, it needs to be put on along with the headliner It needs a few other little things and it'll be all ready to go it's got nice rims that are freshly powder coated really nice gold. I made it a certain look that I thought looked really nice like I said it looks kind of like a race car, it gets a lot of attention and it looks really nice and people are going to give you thumbs up all day long, the motor runs really good the transmission works fine the clutch is really strong the brakes all work good they're all new the emergency brake is not working but it's minor to get it working it has a few electrical things that need to be finished on it the horn I believe and a few other things a lot of the electrical is already done the electrical is original but it was in good shape that's why I left the original electrical on it it's been completely done inside the hood inside the trunk the underneath has been professionally coated with a coating for protecting The car is in really good shape and ready to go it comes with keys Pink Slip and it's been paid up and put on non-op for 20 something years and there's not going to be any kind of fees in the DMV

Okay so recently this bug has had some work done to it what we have done to it is it's got a new clutch in it it's got new spark plugs it's got a new carburetor a fairly new battery and starter it's got new points, new spark plug wires, new gas filters and it's got several other items that are new on it it's got a new throttle cable, new brakes all the way around it's got everything to do with the brakes is new the lines the hoses everything it's all new the drums are new the wheels are like new powder coated the front tires are new the back ones are used all in all the car is in pretty good condition it runs and drives now and is usable it has some lights that are out that aren't working it has no emergency flashers it has a turn signal out I think it's not that it's out it's just that it's never been hooked up right yet you know what I mean it's it's very simple for someone that knows a little bit of electrical everything is there and nothing's butchered up or anything it might just need as simple as light bulbs the headlights are new the headlight rings are new the tail light lenses are new all the rubber on the car is new all the way around in between the fenders the t bar bumpers are new I got a brand new top for it that just needs to be put on and when they put the top on they put the headliner on at the same time with it, I do have the back window and a box of some other parts that go with it. I don't have the headliner. The convertible Frameworks good it goes up and down and locks the back seat is complete the front seats have a little bit of an issue the passenger one doesn't slide on the rail good and you need some work on the driver's seat doesn't stay locked in position it needs some work it's not at all ready to go right now so it looks good it's almost there but it needs work and so make sure you bid accordingly because you will have to put some money into it okay it's not ready to go I'll let you know that up front also It is sold as is, if you can't buy it don't bid on it okay if you want to bid on it make sure you read everything real good and look at the pictures good this car is on eBay for sale and it's going to go to whoever buys it and I expect to be paid for it. I'm doing my part right letting you know everything about the car and you need to do your part right and pay for the car, so as far as the car goes all the stickers that are on the car are just something I decide to do for the heck of it they could all come off with a heat gun and there won't be any damage anywhere they're just stickers and I just did that to make it a different look. The 65 is my birth year that's why I use 1965 the car comes with a license plate and a pink slip and some keys it doesn't need a smog or anything so this is going to be really easy to register no need to smog it. The engine runs fine but it does leak a little oil The car was professionally painted this car has been detailed out after it was painted it was buffed out professionally it's got flat smooth perfect paint on it it. The car does come with a spare tire but no jack. Thanks for looking and good luck. Please follow the payment instructions
