1991 Volkswagen VW Cabriolet

1991 Volkswagen Cabrio Additional Info:

Listing my 1991 Cabriolet. Automatic. Currently 102,563 miles (may change as I will drive it for leisure until it sells). Recently painted original color metallic blue exterior, cloth interior, navy blue cloth top. Gorgeous color combination in really nice condition.

Clean Carfax. Clean title. Currently in Atlanta, but was lifetime FL car before.

Car runs & drives well! Such a fun little ride! I am sad to be having to consider selling but unexpected home repairs have arisen.

Bought the car with plans to keep it. Had A VW Certified master mechanic do a LOT of very recent work, going through a good portion of the car for me & did many updates to make it dependable for driving and VW recommended parts were used when possible in his repairs.

Recent work within last 3 mos:
-replaced steering rack (reman - has lifetime warranty from store), power steering pump, clean and flush all lines & parts
-replaced front crankshaft seal, cam seal, inter. shaft seals & o-ring (also replaced timing covers)
-replaced freeze plugs
-replaced exhaust studs, nuts, gaskets
-replaced ignition coil, fuel lines @ head, radiator fan sensor, computer temp sensor
-replaced spark plugs, oil & filter
-replaced glove box lid
-replaced seat bushings
-replaced rear axle brake hoses, rear brake shoes, wheel cylinders, hardware, wheel bearings & seals
-replaced wheel lug nuts
-cleaned & installed outside side molding
-check oil pressure warning system & replaced sending units
-check dash gauges, replace printed circuit, tach with oil warning, clock with lights
-check fuel system, replaced fuel tank, transfer pump, all pressure hoses, repaired wiring at main fuel pump
-4 brand new tires

-alignment just completed

-A/C blowing cool with recent conversion to R134a refrigerant

Previous owner did following within past 6mos - 2 years:
-new paint, windshield, water pump, timing belt & other belts, thermostat, fuel pump, alternator, new boot cover, new cloth top (headliner was not replaced at that time & has some staining & a small tear but does not have any effect on it),
-replaced stereo with updated bluetooth stereo
-replaced speakers with 4 inch speakers in front & 6 inch speakers in rear

-Spare parts to come with: extra alternator, spare ignition coil, spare ignition switch, Bentley manual, original owners manual, 2 newer car covers, a few other miscellaneous parts (an extra grill, an extra tire rim, extra paint, maybe a few other things out there too)

-If there are any questions I can't answer I can ask my mechanic. I am not a mechanic, nor am I a VW expert. This car was my first vintage VW. I'm sure there are still items on the "to do" list to make this car like new, but car is functional, drives well & operating beautifully & looks sharp in it's current state, at the current time.
