1987 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon Additional Info:
Hello.
This Syncro is clean and very solid! Only reason we are selling is to switch gears and purchase an airstream, otherwise we would not be selling this little gem on wheels. It's already given us some great memories and we know it will do the same for the next owners. It's been garaged since we've owned it both in California (southern) where its lived its entire life and here in NJ when about a year ago when we decided to relocate to the east coast to be closer to family (NJ). Van has new fuel lines, new coil, new fuel injector, new relay switch for fan, new junction box, new fan, new thermostat, heads redone, new rear cv joints, new brakes, coolant recently flushed and gone through by mechanic, new air filter, new reservoir tanks, new belts, oil has been recently changed..... I've done a tremendous job keeping this van in top notch shape (ask my VW mechanic of 25 yrs in California & my recently adopted VW mechanic here in NJ both will tell you its a great van) The previous owner I purchased it from in San Diego reached out to me about a year later asking if I would sell it back to him. (he also took great care of it) I will include the custom rack from Rig Racks out of SantBarbara. It was designed to accommodate a Tepui Tent. (tent not included) The setup can sleep two up top an two in the van with the fold out bed. Table works great and has captain chairs for those momments when you wanna hang out inside with some friends with the table popped out. The van also has two batteries and an inverter to plug in electronics. Vans rust free and there is really nothing else I can say about it. Van speaks for itself!! 4X4 works GREAT!! Gets lots and lots of attention both when driving and camping. Hope to sell it to someone who will take great appreciation for the her!! Thanks for the read!!
