1976 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Additional Info:
So it started out as a 76 bug, chopped it 4” sectioned it 6” and its channeled 4”Complete custom chassis, 76” wide and 98” wheelbase. I wanted to build something that could be driven hard in the corners or on the track and turn heads at the same time. 14” rotors and dual piston calipers on all corners, Iq3 street dash, Mickey Thompson tires, vette replica wheels, power steering, power brakes, 5.7 multi port hemi engine, nag1 transmission with slap shift.Getrag rear differential 2:73 . Independent suspension with adjustable qa1 coil overs. Chase bays drift brake. All glass except rear window is lexan. I’m 6’1” 220lbs. It’s comfortable but snug, plenty of foot room. But if your large in the belly or taller than I am then you might have issues. Super fun car and very responsive. If you don’t run sticky tires like the ones on it, then hold on. Power to wait ratio is awesome! As always when it’s time to upload photos on here page crashes etc. I have more photos some videos etc, lots of build pics as well. Instagram lucky_gunner_garage
