1959 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Additional Info:

1959 VW Beetle in very nice condition!The car is not perfect, but what classic car is if it's not a trailer queen.

When was the last time you saw a 1959 VW Beetle? The car is always a hit at the car shows! There is no other like it. Everyone comes up to the car and has a beetle story to tell.

I have owned this VW for approx 3 years and the only reason I'm selling is the fact that I recently went through back-fusion surgery and it now causes me pain when I drive a manual transmission.

All work/restoration to the vehicle was completed by the owner before the person I bought it from. The only things I have done, were to add the rear seat belts and maintenance.

Body: Pro-Resto modified pan off restoration on a Rust-free CA Beetle.The car has been stored during the salty road winters here in IL.

All original sheet metal body parts. The body number and the pan number match.

Wiring is all new and in great working condition.

Front turn signals are the Porsche 356 type and are integrated into the headlight assembly

Paint: New Garnet Red Paint which is the original color. There are a paint chip or two, but nothing major.

Interior: All new red interior with seat belts in the front and back. Orig steering wheel in nice condition.

Windows roll up and down properly.

Has retro radio sound system, but I hardly ever listen to the radio. The engine makes its own nice soundtrack!

Eng/Trans: 1915cc engine with dual carbs, Engle cam, S/S big tube header. Approx 6,600 mi on engine. Will easily cruise at freeway speeds with no problem or complaints.

Late model trans

Powder coated pan.

Suspension: Suspension has narrow beam/ spindles.

The wheels are Chrome Super Speed15 inch wheels on front/ 17 inch wheels on the rear.

I have the clear IL title in my name.
