1967 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Additional Info:
I am retiring and this was my daily driver and grocery getter. It has been a great car and has a great look for those who like patina and ready to finish for those that want to make shiny.
It is a 1967 and has a rebuilt 1641 engine with about 2K on it now. The clutch was replaced when the motor was. It has a 2" narrow adjustable beam, 2 1/2 drop spindles, 4 wheel disc brakes, EMPI Fuch lookalikes and new tires with about 1K miles on them and a new TRW steering box. It also has front and rear sway bars.
It has a rejetted 30/31 Pict carb and a German Bosch 009 with Pertronix II ignition and a Bosch Blue coil. The battery is about a year old. It has VDO oil temp and pressure gauges.
It has no rust, there has been battery tray replacement and rear driver floor welded along with part of package tray. They were welded in correctly and seam sealed, painted and dynamat installed. I have additional photos for interested buyers.
All lights work, as do door locks. The wipers work most days just a little sluggish at times.
She runs great, and has a EMPI short shift and all gears and reverse work great.
The bad, no headliner, rear seat needs new cover and no rear door panels.
Feel free to ask questions if unsure before bidding.
