1971 Karmann Ghia Coupe

1971 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia Additional Info:

This Ghia has been my summer driver for the last 9 years but we'll be moving next spring and need to sell it. To the best of my knowledge it has been on the road and maintained its entire life An unrestored original southwestern desert car with no rust..solid throughout. What it does have is some damage to the front bumper and lower apron..but it never bothered me enough to have it fixed. Car has always been yellow but had a respray about 25+ years ago, its ok for a driver but not a show car. Needs the usual Ghia fixes, rubbers, seals etc. Motor idles high (always has) Interior is original (driver seat could use some work) door panels are TMI replacements, carpets are original. Comes with the OEM heater boxes stamped 12/70 and extra parts There are some upgrades Retro Sound radio, LED bulbs, shift lock. This is not a perfect car but it is a nice survivor that we have enjoyed for 9 years. Current title states milage in excess of mechanical limits....Illinois will not accept the odometer readings on any vehicle over 25 years old. Current milage on the odometer is 72959.
