1986 Volkswagen Jetta Additional Info:

Up for sale is a very nice 1986 Volkswagen Jetta 2 door sedan. It was purchased new in 1986, the 2nd owner purchased it in March 2012 & I purchased it from him in April 2015. It spent most of the time behind a motor home by the first owner. When I purchased it I had new shift linkage installed & it has been serviced every 3 months since. This Jetta has a 4 cylinder gas motor with a 5 speed transmission. Odometer shows 208250 miles, however it does not work all the time. It has been that way since April 2014. This Jetta runs very well & by my figures it gets about 32 mpg. Comes with original spare tire with jack & all owners manuals. Tires are all new within the last year.
It does have a few flaws but they are minor. They are as listed, front windshield is cracked but not in direct sight of driver, radio does not work, a/c will need serviced, passenger seatback will not adjust up any more forward & driver seatback release will not work. A few dings in the body but overall body is in good condition. I have been driving this Jetta back & forth to work since I purchased it.
The local VW mechanic said that the 2 door Jetta is very hard to find especially in this condition. Most of 2 door sedans were made into rally cars.
I do have a clear Indiana title for this Jetta.
A $100.00 deposit is due within 24 hrs of sale via paypal. Balance must be paid in full within 7 days of sale. I will accept a certified bank check or cod if paid in person.
This Jetta must be pick-up at my location in Washington, IN.
