1976 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic NO RESERVE Additional Info:
For sale 1976 Volkswagen beetle convertible no reserve. This is an awesome classic car. It can be driven as is with its flaws or you can refurbish this Volkswagen beetle convertible into an amazing car.
This car was purchased in 2003 in California previous to this date I have little information about the car other than the car was originally white in color. In 2003 the car was painted lavender. The car had the engine rebuilt and all of the maintenance up to date while it was driven in California. The car always started right up and was mechanically sound. It was a great car to drive around town and was very reliable.
In 2010 the car was shipped to Florida and was garage kept but was not driven often from 2010 thru the present day. When we decided to sell the car we wanted to make sure everything was in good working condition. We took it to a first mechanic to have him change the fluids, oints, ondenser, ear gasket and rear bumper shocks, uel pump, uel injected fuel filter, ntake gaskets and boots, rake pads and a master cylinder. After seeing the first mechanic we decide to take it to another person for a second opinion and make sure everything is in good working order. He serviced the car with a tune-up, park plugs and a new battery. The car starts with no problems and has been driven around town and on the highway.
The car was painted the current color green in December of 2016. The car still shows some of the lavender color on the inside in the back and front sides of the car as well as where the tire is kept. I have photos showing this. The car comes with a new white top but it isn't installed.
This car also has rack and pinion steering which is rare for a 1976 Volkswagen. The speedometer works but the odometer has stopped counting the miles. After the engine was rebuilt the car has been driven under 5000. Before that I do not know how many miles the car has been driven.
The car is currently in Florida, f you live around there and you win the bid, ou can drive the car home. If you want to have it shipped I will meet the shipping company and have it shipped to you once payment has been received. If you would like to see it and test drive and/or have any questions about this car please feel free to email me.
Thanks for looking, appy bidding and if you can see yourself behind the wheel of this classic car please bid on it.
