1979 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon Riviera Additional Info:

Here we have a fantastic 1979 vw Riviera conversion camper bus. This bus has been lovingly used and upgraded for the last 4 years since being purchase in 2014.

It has been a wonderful camping vehicle, tour rig, weekend get away cruiser, and all-around fun to drive bus. It has taking me to music festivals around the Midwest, camping trips of over 100 miles on numerous occasions, and so many other fun adventures and countless conerts around KC! This bus has amazng kharma, and is the most mechanically sound bus I’ve ever owned (and I’ve owned 10). My kids have loved riding in it, camping it and helping me work on it! The frame is rock solid, but it does have a bit of surface rust around wheel wells and battery tray – typical for old buses. I have been meticulous in maintenance on this one, doing things myself, as able, or taking to professional shops with anything beyond my capability. The 2.0 liter fuel-injected power plant has been trouble free, and carried me at 65-70 mph highway speeds since owning (something I’m not use to in old air cooled buses). Canvas is in pretty good shape, with no major issues.
