1972 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Super Beetle Additional Info:

Up for auction is my 1972 Volkswagen Beetle Ratrod. I built this over the course of 2 years on and off. ill tell you a little about it. First off like I said it started its life off as a 1972 Beetle. I built the chassis out of 2x3 square tubing. It is rear wheel drive and has a Gm 8.5 10 bolt rear end with drum brakes on the rear. It has 15 inch wide Bart wheels on the back with ET street tires so they are street legal tires. It has 7 inch wide Bart wheels on the front with 2 brand new tires as well. It has a custom Speedway driveshaft .Turbo 400 3 speed transmission and a little bitty Chevy 350 small block with a Weiand 6-71 supercharger with dual Edlebrock 600 cfm carbs. it has a fuel cell and a Holley blue fuel pump. MSD Ignition system. It has manual steering and manual brakes but does have disc brakes on the front. it has a 32 ford straight axle front end with a suicide perch all brand new from Speedway motors. a 32 Ford 2 row aluminum radiator with electric fans which is brand new as well. It has new head lights, Led brake lights new gauge, Speedometer, Tac, oil pressure, voltage, and water temp all back lit and functional. Its been i a couple local car shows and is a crowd pleaser. Everyone who sees it falls in love. I have way too many projects and started this just because I "THOUGHT" i had most of the stuff laying around to build it in a few weeks. It never works out that way. anyways Its the most unpractical car I own and really cant give it all of the love it deserves. As bad as i hate to see her go i honestly need the room for some other projects i have around the shop. Im including a like to a video of a walk around and i started it up and revved it a couple of times. If im forgetting anything or you have any questions please feel free to send me a message ill be glad to help you out. I do work a lot so if i dont get back to you right away its because im working. Thansk for looking and here is a link to the video.
