1970 Volkswagen Type III Additional Info:
Originally a California car(original 70' CA plates can go with it), It traveled up to Colorado where it lived in Pueblo until I bought it. It's garaged and I don't drive it in the snow which has helped keep that original metal Rust free. Price is obo, since there is no rust repair needed it would make a great driving project for someone this spring
1600 dual port, newer Mexican heads and a Microsquirt V3 EFI controlled fuel injection system with Electronic Ignition. All parts used in the Conversion (with the exception of the throttle Body and manifolds) are brand new or refurbished, Feel free to message me if you'd like specifics
Other Recent work:
All four tires
All four tie rod ends and alignment
Front Brake pads
New front seats (Procar by SCAT- grey cloth, I've also got the original lowbacks to go with the car)
Windshield and Seal
Bluetooth Speakers
Bolt on EMPI C channel Valve covers (I've got the stock covers and bails that will go with the car)
Valve Adjustment
New Turn Signal switch
All Fuel hoses w/ FI rated clamps
Heater boxes sandblasted inside and out, Exhaust resealed and new "Quietpack" muffler
There are a couple of minor dents and a previous owner shaved the door handles, The door handle recess' are still in the door and just covered so they could be returned to stock by someone with a grinder and some patience.
The car runs great as it sits, or if you feel like playing with the tune the Ignition timing and fuel maps can be adjusted from a laptop or tablet Via Bluetooth. Sensors can be displayed on a Bluetooth capable device, but the car doesn't need anything connected to run and drive. I was using a cheap android Tablet to display gauges on the "ShadowDash" app
