1958 VW Panel bus with amazing patina and unique character. German. Vintage graphics on paint. Originally Dove Blue. Engine compartment still wears original color. Dry, solid bus. Some rust here and there (neutralized) but a lot better than most. Solid floors, chassis, inner nose bottom lip, torsion bar area, parcel tray, all critical points etc... Two owners from same family since new. Was a logo'd delivery van in the late 50's early 60's. CA bus. Converted to 12V. Strong period built performance dual port 1600 with Zenith NDIX carb, aluminum manifold, 009, full flow oil cooling and filter. Engine accelerates very smooth and has excellent power. Cruises the highway and climbs hills smoothly. Gas tank lever works. Smooth transmission with reduction boxes. Heater works. Bus drives great and stops good. Would not hesitate to drive anywhere. All doors work good. Good steering. All tail lights, brakes lights, turn signals, hi-lo beam, license plate, cargo area, dash lights work. Original: honeycomb glass tail lights, front emblem (repainted) drivers visor, all door handles and latches, original key, speedometer, CA blue commercial plates, crank start apron, spare tire and jack... Comes with the original matching numbers 36hp motor. Wood panels in interior. Vintage Indian Motorcycles sticker on rear window. This bus is a super treat to drive and sounds great.
