A UNIQUE 4X4 VEHICLE
Only 7,700 of these cars were made and they were never sold in the US. This car is mechanically in perfect shape. It was recently refurbished for the 2017 Baja 4000 rally as the official pace car. All parts are original. Apart from the rally lights on top no other modifications have been made.
The car starts and runs perfectly. It's a comfortable smooth ride. The top speed is 110mph on 98hp engine. It's a great every day driver, collector car, a light off-road project car or historic rally car. It has syncro 4 wheel drive.
It has minimal rusting on the bottom. Needs a set of new tires and the rear two shocks need to be replaced. I will be providing 2 brand new shocks. The muffler also needs to be reattached unless you like that sexy sports car sound. The passenger door lock needs to be fixed. Currently it requires a little push to open the door. I'm the second owner of the car and bought it from the original owner in Austria. Car has its original Austrian title and title transfer documents.
