This very special 1973 VW Thing quite possibly could be the nicest one in all of SoCal. No expense spared in the complete rebuild. This ride gets more attention than any vehicle I have ever owned. Less than 1,000 miles on engine rebuild. New clutch, New dual carbs, New distributor, New exhaust, New battery, New plugs, New wires. New tires, New rims, wheel balance and alignment. New gas tank and heater. Built 2276cc, aggressive cam, 4 speed Freeway Flyer tranny. Runs very strong and stops great with Ghia front disc brakes. Respray two stage VW Cyber Metallic Green in 2015. The body is straight as an arrow and looks miles deep. Custom chrome bumpers and fenders. Beetle tail lights, clear custom running lights/turn signals, wood duck boards. Comes with all windows, window covers. The fiberglass hard top is attached. I will include a black soft top in fair condition and a nylon cover from The Thing Shop.
