1970 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia Coupe
This 1970 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia Coupe is a well maintained, mechanically sound example wearing a classic color scheme of red over black. Having spent most of its history in the south, this Karmann Ghia Coupe is largely rust free and structurally sound. The engine fires up on the first turn of the key with no drama and needs nothing to be enjoyed.

Panel fitment is good and shows no signs of accident damage or other major issues. The front storage area is rust free and in excellent shape. A small patch in the passenger side floor is evident but was repaired to a high standard. Rear window trim is missing but a replacement comes with the vehicle. A paint crack can be found on the driver’s side fender and as well as very small amount of rust bubbling in the corner of the front and rear windshield. The interior of the vehicle is excellent. The newly covered vinyl seats show almost no signs of wear. The interior carpeting was recently replaced and the charcoal grey carpet compliments the black vinyl and trim well. There are no cracks or other blemishes on the dash pad. All electrics are known to be in working order with the gauge faces clear and in good condition. There is a small hairline crack in the dash face.
Structurally the vehicle is in good condition. Mild surface rust is apparent on the frame and under body components but the vehicle is largely rust free and in good condition. Major components and structural pieces are solid and show no signs of any accident or other damage.
The vehicle’s mechanics are in good condition. The engine fires immediately, without drama, even when cold. A new carburetor was recently fitted. The brakes feel solid and stop straight. The clutch engages well and the transmission shifts through all gears with ease. The suspension is in good condition and no issues are apparent. Overall, this vehicle drives well and numerous maintenance records from previous ownership are included.
