1980 Triumph Other Convertible Additional Info:

For sale is a 1980 Triumph TR7 Spider
Original paint and interior.
Needs paint job as it has surface rust on hood, doors and trunk lid.
All have been treated with rust inhibitor. Note the white film on paint around surface rust areas.
Small ding above passenger rear wheel wheel and 3 small dings on passenger door. Some chips in paint.
The engine does not turn over. This is not a running car.
Parts missing are: doors lights, trunk lift bar, stereo and door speakers.
Part of exhaust has been removed. ( The plan was to replace it with Falcon Stainless Steel)
The original interior has been removed but is going with car.
4 of the rims are the original spider rims and spare is a 1980 TR7/8 rim. It looks like Spider rim just does not have "S" marking.
The tires need replacing.
Convertible top in good condition.
Speedo reads 50479 miles. Not sure if this is actual as previous title reads 97292.
I purchased this Spider in 2007 in hopes of restoring it. Removed the interior to send to paint shop. While at paint I was going to rebuild engine. That was the plan. That plan did not get past starting to remove interior.
Pictures attached show what comes with the Spider. I think you will find it has most of what is needed to restore a rare Triumph TR7 Spider classic.
According to the Triumph Registry, only 1205 of the Spiders were produced.
In researching the Spider I found someone who said that 1260 were produced. It does not matter as the Spider was a low production run and one the last cars produced by British Leyland.
I think you find that running the VIN that this is true Spider.
The pictures can be enlarged so take a good look and contact me with questions.
Since I did not restore the Spider, I have not changed to title to my name but do have original title that has been signed and it is clear and ready to transfer to winning bidder.
I accept PayPal, winning bidder is to pay a $200 US dollars deposit (Pay Pal) non refundable with in 3 days end of auction and remainder of winning bid within 7 days end of auction. Pick up and or shipping is the responsibility of the winning bidder.
I will keep the Spider in my garage for up to 2 weeks after auction ends so that winning bidder can coordinate pick up of Spider.
I have done my best to describe the car as completely as possible. Look at pictures and ask questions. I check ebay everyday and will respond with in 24 hours.
Good luck
