1979 Triumph Spitfire Additional Info:

Selling for an 85 year old collector who is thinning the herd. Runs and drives good. Lots of money invested.The car sports new tires, new convertible top, new windshield and gasket plus a lot more new parts that are supported by a folder full of history in the trunk. The car was owned by a British gentleman in San Diego prior to the 85 year old gentleman purchasing the vehicle, and this guy seriously went to town renewing everything that could be renewed. Then the wife had a baby and it was game over for him, and he sold it.
It appears that the front end is supplied with new bushings, lots of engine related gaskets and brake items are renewed as well. It was not driven much since, and needs to be driven!
The horn does not work, and speedometer doesn't either which I assume is a missing cable.
Sold as-is where-is and the deposit is non refundable. We are reliable sellers so we do not work with caramel etc. because it is simply too much of a hassle for the owner.Cash or wire transfer.
