Original and well preserved four speed 1972 Triumph TR-6 convertible with hard top has less than 40,000 miles. Car has been garaged, covered and well maintained by a British car mechanic and has never been in an accident. The interior is immaculate as seen in the photos provided. The engine is original and has never been rebuilt. Engine hoses were once replaced but the green hoses have been preserved along with the service manuals and various small replacement parts. The car starts a little cold and takes a couple of minutes to warm up, idling at 1,000-1,100 rpms. No visible leaks or weeps. Transmission shifts smoothly through all the gears. Photos of the engine and engine bay show the engine in original condition, unmodified form. Paint is original and no touch ups on this no rust car have ever been made. The roll bar and luggage rack were added by the owner who has owned this beautiful car since 1977. All trim and lights are complete and in excellent working condition. There is some crazing that can be seen on the hood and multiple small chips and scrapes are noted around the car. One very small dnet can be seen on the trim strip below the driver's door, and the black crinkle protective finish below the trim displays wear but no damage. A single stone chip is noted on the windshield but is not in the line of sight. All seals are with no leaks or water damage. The original vinyl seats are in excellent condition with absolutely no cracks or tears. The door panels and carpet are also like new, in fact the interior still smells new! The walnut veneer wood dashboard displays all original set of gauges and controls, including the Leyland AM radio all in beautiful condition and working properly. The door locks are manual and trunk lock in excellent condition. The soft top is in very good condition inside and out. The undercarriage has front discs and rear drum brakes with four-wheel independent suspension. The manual rack-and-pinion steering has no play. No suspension work has been required with the low mileage of the car, including the bushings and shocks. The 185/70VR15 period correct red stripe tires are approximately 10 years old with a tread depth of 3/16-inch. The car will be sold on a clear Idaho title.
