Our completely ORIGINAL 1975 Triumph TR6 features its as-born-with Mimosa Yellow paint with a Chestnut interior. This TR-6 has covered only 7,100 miles and the car is as close to being "New" as any 41 year-old survivor can be. It is optioned with a matching factory hardtop, overdrive, and very rare AC. (Yes, we know:the Brits drink their Guinness warm, yet this car has air conditioning!)
Probably originally destined for a Yank, but please don't hold that against this TR!
Everything is correct on this car and it's as British Leyland built it. It runs and drives beautifully. The TR6 was the haloed affordable British sports car and the last of the traditional English roadsters with the big 6 cylinder engine. The 2.5 liter straight six has twin Stromberg carburetors and makes 101 horsepower and plenty of torque. And it makes that throaty sound they became known for. The four speed transmission is equipped with the electric overdrive (it works on 3rd and 4th gear) and this makes it a pleasure to drive.
This has to be the best original example in existence. Its previous owner stored it properly in a dry climate (Oklahoma),and so it's preserved incredibly well. That means you can drive it, show it, and win with it! You will not find another like it.
