1971 Triumph Stag Black Additional Info:
Serial number LE1389LBW. Still has original Minnesota title and several reassignments. Looks like the car was sold to a Pontiac dealership about a year after being bought and went through several parts dealers in Minnesota and Wisconsin in 1974/75. It appears this car has been off the road more than 40 years. Fire damage to left side, top, interior. Outside door handles melted preventing entry from outside. Engine, transmission and other underhood parts taken out. The previous owner told me the car had less than 7,000 miles on it but there is no instrument panel to verify this. The tires appear to be period Michelins and were off of the car at the time of the barn fire. The car was not insured or registered at time of fire more than 25 years ago. Original color is Damson with black trim. The original wool carpeting with Triumph heel pads on both sides are still in the car. There really doesn't appear to be any serious rust on the car other than where the heat scorched the paint, etc. Car was stored in grain elevator/ barn complex in Fall Creek, WI. Any questions or additional photos needed, please ask. Payment due within 3 days of auction end. Thank you.
