Awesome retro 1975 Toyota pickup in suntan yellow. Legendary 20R motor with a 5 speed. Fun to drive and captures attention wherever it goes! They don’t make them like this anymore.
I purchased this truck from western Washington (very dry climate). This is reflected by a clean frame, truck bed and undercarriage.
It sat out there for an unknown period, and major work completed upon arrival to the east coast:
Refurbished radiator
Carburetor (Weber)
Head Gasket, Machine Cylinder Head, Valve Job (Integrity Auto)
Brake hoses (Integrity Auto)
Front Shocks (Integrity Auto)
Rear Shocks (Integrity Auto)
Tires
Rear Wheel Cylinder
Roughly $5000 spent on repairs, and $1500 in transport from the west coast.
The truck ran amazingly following this work. Only exception is that it would pop out of 5th gear. Everything else electric / mechanical works to the best of my knowledge. Original parts, including carburetor and smog devices included.
Note some rust on body panels (see pictures of affected areas).
Sadly, the truck wouldn’t start roughly 15 months later and engine seized. It’s back at Integrity and I’m told the oil pump failed. They gave a verbal estimate of $3 to $4 k to fix this and said it’s highly unusual occurrence and unrelated to the work they did earlier. My loss is your gain! I see these trucks rapidly rising in value.
Mileage is estimated at 120,000 as I replaced the speedometer. The original speedometer is included, which reads approximately 19,156 upon removal.
Clear Pennsylvania title in my possession, ready for transfer to the new owner. Winning bidder will pick up at Integrity Auto. I will meet you or send the title. Good Luck!
