1975 Toyota SR5 Truck Hilux Model:
I’m selling my beloved 1975 Toyota SR5 2wd Hilux Truck that is in very good condition for the age of the vehicle; I have owned the truck for almost two years and I’m moving now so the wife says the truck must go. I looked for years to find a Toyota Hilux truck in good condition like this one, wanted it to be a short bed with the SR5 and almost all of these trucks were long beds for some reason. I do not think you will find a nicer 1975 Toyota Hilux SR5 in original condition that isn’t restored, lus I love the color and graphics, ots of these trucks were terrible colors like pea green! Remember, his truck is 41 years old and sat on Toyota’s lot for sale when Barbra Steisand’s “The Way Were Were” and Terry Jack’s “Seasons in the Sun” were the top songs on Billboard and Gerald Ford was president!
Surprisingly, his gorgeous truck has survived the decades nicely, he body is pretty much 100% straight with maybe the slightest door dings in a couple spots, umpers appear to be original and by some miracle are still straight with no damage. The body does have some slight surface rust and the driver’s side of the bed does have a small spot where the rust has penetrated all the way through (see pictures); this is due to the canopy being on the truck for decades, anopy is a Gemtop made in Clackamas, regon (I do not have the key to the canopy lock). The last owner sprayed the outside roof of the cab with a blue paint to cover up some surface rust, olor doesn’t exactly match perfectly, never notice as the roof isn’t something that you look at normally. I took lots of pictures so you could see how nicely the body survived 41 years, he frame is solid and doesn’t have any rust. If you would like a picture of a specific area that I didn’t take, lease let me know and I’d be happy to email a picture over.
Interior is in excellent shape and original to the truck, verything is still there, riginal AM radio, igarette lighter, eat belts, hift knob, nd shift boot. The gentleman I purchased the truck from had the original door panels and original bucket seats recovered completely with what looks and feels like leather but I’m sure it is synthetic leather. The seats and door panels look amazing, udos to the upholstery shop! Everything works inside the interior, ipers, ights (interior & exterior), ll glass is good and the windows roll down with no problem.
Engine and transmission run and shift smoothly; I just changed the engine oil and transmission oil with fresh Redline Racing Oil. The odometer lists 85,000 miles, do not know if that is 85,000 or 185,000, doubt it would be any higher than 185,000 as the body and interior wouldn’t be in such nice shape. Many new parts:
New Heater Core $246.75 with receipt
Exhaust Manifold Gasket Set $51.78 with receipt

Brand New Tires at Les Schwab 02/18/2016 with Siping $419.00 with receipt (Pictures show old tires not new)

Buyer is responsible for all shipping; truck is located in Corvallis, regon, ayment within 72 hours please, ither through Paypal or Cash, o checks. I hate to sell the truck as I know I will never find another one this nice in blue, ith the SR5 package and a short bed. If you browse eBay right now, here probably isn’t even a listing for one of these trucks and if there is a listing, he trucks I have seen are beat up and ugly colors like yellow or pea green and going for $4500 in rough shape. This truck would make an excellent candidate for restoration or your weekend cruiser. I’m just hoping the new owner appreciates this classic truck as much as I do. Please feel free to ask any questions that I did not answer, will promptly respond to them. Thank you for viewing my auction. Jason
