ONE OF THE RAREST LAND CRUISERS IN THE USA

Up for sale is the opportunity to purchase one of the rarest land cruisers ever made. The very first year imported into the USA, this 1963 FJ45LV is one of less than 10 1963 LV's remaining in the US according to the ih8mud registry, and likely the most rust-free example available in decades. The 63's have a few goodies that the other LV's didn't have, my favorite is the cowl vent for fresh air. I looked for 15 years before I finally found a 1963 FJ45LV. Unfortunately I have an even rarer land cruiser project that is my priority now.

This particular example is an Arizona vehicle free of any rot. Those familiar with the FJ45LV series know they are notorious for major rot due to their double walled body construction. What you see in the underside pictures that is flaking is just paint. This truck is complete with the original seats (almost always missing), ALL of the original glass (pretty amazing), most of the original door hardware, and the original Toyota F135 engine. The engine is out, has been painted and ready to be re-mounted. Spins freely, and I have a gasket kit for it if you feel you'd like to go further with it.

Brand new front AND rear bumpers come with the sale (the rear bumper was custom made based off of OEM) as well as the rear bumper brackets. I have an original Aisin SD40 big window carburetor for it as well, with the blue plate. I will also include a Toyota factory PTO and winch I was able to source. I have lots of dash switches etc I will include too.

The rear hatch has been repaired and primed already, and I have an OEM patch panel for the drivers side rear quarter area which is pictured. The rear wheel fenders were trimmed at some point and will need to have a thin area of metal patched in. Otherwise the body is in great shape.
