First owner. I tried to keep it "cherry" as much as possible which was spendy. Above are the 2 taps in what was once pristine. Many people wanted to buy it but I was down to just this vehicle at the time. I was offered $2K just for the long bed since they are hard to find. I said no. The car is probably worth more parted out, but I was hoping for a person who liked the truck as is. Drop an engine in it and one has a good truck, or a partial rebuild since I don't know if it is just the timing belt which skipped a hole or two. The two back tires are 6 ply overloads (the lf back is brand new) and pulling a cord and 1/2 is no problem. Just did bark chips 2 weeks ago. The paint is the original color, but I took the decals off. There are some internal flaws as one would expect: the dash has some cracks due to sitting in the sun. The drivers seat has seen better days since my girth is not what it was 20 years a go. A new seat would be a plus. All the dials are clear and not fogged as if new. The heater works as well as most gizmos inside. Due to my maintenance the steering wheel is true, but for the first time there is a slight pull to the left the braking for the first time. Many parts are new from my mech. The alternator is about 4 years old and was replaced with a good model. It is mostly stock, with the only changes being the overloads in the back, and a CD radio. That's all I can think of for now. The truck looks great and I always get high fives when I drive it.Phil TP.S. no sales tax in Oregonpps for Carcheck notes: a '77 doesn't have a 17 digit number, The vehicle was intended for the US market as I bought it in LA, the vehicle ID number was entered correctly, the vehicle is not too new. CarCheck has issues.Biggest issue now: the engine needs work, and a possible rebuild. It may be a timing chain issue or something more ominous, but a mechanics dream perhaps. Price reduced as the engine was running the first time I posted this ad. I don't know the extent of the damage but it is not motoring at this point. This issue happened only in the last 3 weeks. Price reduced due to the engine issue.
