1983 Toyota Pickup DLX Additional Info:

This is a sharp truck in good shape for its age. We got it on trade two years ago in Toledo. The guy we got it from built the wood bed. It starts and runs and drives nicely, has good brakes and tires. Shifts really nicely. He did some front of the engine work and it leaks. We did a fuel pump since then and replaced the distributor, along with plugs and wires, recent valve adjustment and valve cover gasket. The truck does leak from the timing cover. We simply topped it off regularly. If you drive it daily it'll go through a pint. We did front pads to try to get rid of a squeak and a rear brake adjustment. It has some bumps and bruises but it is a vintage truck. Bottoms of doors starting to rust. One fender has rust bubbles starting the other fender has small hole. Cab is perfect.Seat covers are to protect original seats, they look great for their age. Rockers are clean and doors open and close nicely. Crank windows work well and vent windows look great and work well. Even the old timey radio works. It doesn't like to cold start but is fine once it warms up. Horn only works while steering wheel is turning one way or the other. Mostly just a solid old truck, no frills but it will do what it's made for. I'd trust this truck to go anywhere but we have too many trucks, too many projects right now. Want this truck to go to someone who will give it love.Questions, give me a ring at (734) 262-3554
