1993 Toyota Celica GT Additional Info:
Up for auction is a 1993 Toyota Celica GT coupe race car. The interior has been gutted and a full circle track roll cage is installed. The rear mount plates are only tacked to the floor since the factory gas tank has not been removed yet. These will need to be welded in once the tank is removed. The cage is all 1.75 inch tubing except for the cross brace bar which is 1.5 inch. I can include a 1.75 bar to replace that one if your track rules dictate it is needed. This needs very little to be race ready. As far as race prep you need to install a race seat, harness, window net, rims and tires that fit your track rules, and a windshield. All of the wiring is still in the car so this should also be removed other than what is needed for the ECU. Currently all of the glass except for the drivers window and windshield are still installed along with all of the lights.
Mechanically the car is in good shape. It has just over 105,000 miles and runs great. It needs a clutch, a power steering line, and a rear brake line. I would replace the brakes before racing it but that is your call. The tires on the car right now are junk but all four factory rims are in decent shape. It has never been hit hard but the body does have a couple minor bumps. There is some rust underneath but nothing structural
Along with the car I will include a spare engine that came out of a 94 MR2. I was told it ran good and had 135K on it when it was removed but I never heard it run. It does turn over really easy. The spare engine is complete including the fuel injection, alternator, starter, and distributor. All the things to have a spare of everything. I will include an 8 gallon fuel cell (brand new, never used, still in box). I bought the car a few years ago and it came from New Hampshire. I do not have a title for it since NH does not issue one on older cars so this will be sold on a bill of sale only. I never registered it so I do not have any DMV paperwork to include. You can't register it anyway since it would not be street legal. I will not arrange shipping. I will also not guarantee that the cage will pass your track's tech. It is a solid install but track rules differ by location.
With how unique this vehicle is, it would be best if you can look at it in person before you bid or ask any questions you might have. I can provide more pictures if you need. Just let me know and I will take pictures of anything you want.
