Center locking differential with 5 speed transmission. Runs and drives well.Excellent candidate for a 3sgte swap or simply enjoy as a stock classic. The interior pictures honestly don't do the car justice. For a 30 year old car, the inside has been very well kept. The only visible rust on the exterior is a few small spots on the rear fender area and under one rocker cover. Underneath the body/frame is solid with no rot, only surface rust on some components.
I drove this vehicle for a few hundred miles earlier in the year as well as recently in the snow. It goes like a tank. It is not a speed demon by any means. It does have a power steering leak and the heater fan speed control is finicky at times. The tires have great tread but are starting to crack. I would imagine the car is probably due for basic tune up items, (valve cover gasket for sure), fluid change, etc. I don't know the exact history on the car, other than it came from a professor around the UVA area and made its way to WVA where I later found it and brought it to our shop.
This is an odd and rare car for this part of the US. Most folks have never even seen one. I own a Celica All-Trac and have also had a few Corolla All-Trac wagons. These are fun machines and are a pleasure to drive in slippery conditions.
