1994 Toyota Reg Cab
171,850 miles, 22re, 5-speed, dual cases with Marlin adapter, 4.7’s in rear case
83? Axle swapped into front using Sky Mfg kit with axle truss, gussets, front crossmember, clevises in front, etc.
Front Axle: 4.88, high pinion, Detroit locker, 30 spline longfields, knuckle rebuild kit, surprisingly NO leaks! FJ rotors with factory calipers, stainless steel brake lines, low clearance plug
Steering: Rusty’s heim rod ends, Rusty’s tie rod and drag link. Trail Gear ram assist
Rear Axle: 4.88, spools, stainless steel brake lines, low clearance plug
Tires/Wheels: NEW (less than 200 road miles, with ZERO trail miles) Kanati Mud Hog 37” x 12.50” x 17 tires, on also new American Eagle 17” real beadlock wheels. They ride surprisingly well, and the wheels are made to center the tires when mounted
Suspension: Chevrolet 63” springs in rear, and Wagoneer hybrid pack in front. Bilstein shocks front and rear.
Misc: square tube driveshaft in front, plus extra square tube driveshaft, 1.5” spacers on all four wheels, has well-built front bumper/stinger, cage in rear, and slider bars, hitch receiver and clevises on rear, fuel tank has been relocated to behind the cab and the gauge still works, aftermarket stereo, Budbuilt transfer case mount/skid, LED lights in front, and slick remote control LED lights underneath with 8 separate lights. The a/c is intact, and according to the previous owner it works, but there is apparently a small leak somewhere. Previous owner installed a new head and header, it runs great. Grey SR5 seats that are in good condition. Doors are removable via hitch pins, and they still open/close as they should.
I bought this vehicle a few months ago, changed all of the fluids, installed the tires/wheels, and repaired the clutch master and slave cylinder (OEM parts). It obviously does have some body damage, but I don’t think it has been off-road a lot. This is the second built Toyota I have owned… this one is very well built, simple, “bulletproof”, and needs nothing to be wheeled wherever one wants to take it. All of the door handles/windows work. It rides/drives surprisingly well on around town and on the interstate, I would trust it to be driven anywhere. Clean NC title in my name.
The reason I'm selling is because I sold a convertible and also bought a Jeep LJ Rubicon, I've always wanted on of those.... was a way for me to consolidate two vehicles.
It did pass NC state inspection when I bought it. Some of the emissions stuff has been removed by the previous owner (usually the breather on top of the valve cover) goes somewhere else. It does not have a catalytic converter, they probably should have failed it for NC due to that, but they didn't.
