Second chance relisted due to recent non-paying winning bidder from Louisiana never who never saw the 4x4 in person. She deserves a good caring home!!

I originally intended to get an ATV for my outdoor travels into remote places. I had an acquaintance who had one and it was a blast to ride in because you could travel over bumpy and rocky roads at a higher rate speed get yourself there quicker and in much more comfort than in my old 4X4 truck. But, then the more I researched the more I realized how heavily California has restricted there use. You can't legally drive them down the highway like say Arizona, okay I understand that, but also you could not legally drive them down some National forest roads in the boonies miles from the nearest paved road, either. California is all about rules on top of more rules. Most of the western states, Arizona, Utah, Colorado, Montana, Wyoming, and others, accommodate hunters, fisherman, campers and off roaders with much less ATV restriction.
My solution was to buy/build a compact California "street legal" ATV. An early Suzuki seemed to fill the bill, its small around 5 feet wide or so and about the size of a 4 passenger ATV. I had a automobile repair shop for many years in my younger days and it gave me a leg up and a considerable cost savings in labor for a DIY, for many of the upgrades you see on this Samurai. I bought the car years ago with together with engine conversion, oversized fuel tank, rear suspension, oversized tires/rims, Locker differentials, WARN winch with remote cable, air adjustable shocks with an onboard compressor already installed and in place. I was a well thought out installation. I especially agreed with his preference to use 5:88 gears in both differentials to balance the drivetrain with the huge 32" tires. Why? He reasoned and I agreed, putting the gear reduction in the Samurai's tiny 50 pound transfer case puts all that torque multiplication on the Transfer Case. Why not spread that torque and power between 2 differentials, with MUCH heftier gears? Also the Toyota power steering unit with an oil cooler is a must so you don't break both arms trying to steer it. Not so happy with the Rancho air adjustable shocks the car is so light at just 2000 lbs. Just don't put air in it. It is a perfect motor home 4x4. It pulls so easily you will keep checking your rear view tv to make sure its still there! Gets 24 MPG Hwy. Plus one of the softest cushiest off road ride short of a long travel suspension ATV you'll ever feel. Will cruise effortlessly at freeway speeds too.
1987 Suzuki Samurai, Deluxe Model, LOW mileage This engine is completely stock with no internal modifications whatsoever. This engine is a factory fuel injected 16 valve GEO TRACKER (NOT THE 8 VALVE version) the engine and runs perfectly with none of the old time issues that the carbureted versions had. I have read that many have called the Suzuki Samurai an "entry level" 4X4. This one can be entry level too or above that or even above that. You are only limited by your courage with this car but its a very easy driving 4x4. And it will go where the big boys can't even think to fit.
