1982 Subaru Brat DL

In storage over 20 years. 93,000 original miles. Have Pink Slip Title

This is the Single Range 4-speed, 4WD DL version without the Fun Roofs.

BRING A TRAILER. This is a project vehicle that is not currently running due to carburetor issues. Original single barrel Weber has been replaced with more supportable Hitachi. However, the additional fuel, vacuum and smog fittings have not been sorted out.

Speedometer and Odometer work and reflect true mileage.

Lights and Turn Signals work.

Water Temp and Gas gauges do not work, and need wiring attention.

Brat is very straight, no accidents, with few scratches but has surface rust in several spots (see pics).

All glass is good.

Interior needs seats re-upholstered and new carpets.

Front radio dash panel, passenger shelf and center console are in poor shape. Dash has a couple cracks, but a nice dashmat.

There is a 2-inch lift kit installed to accommodate the 14-inch Peugeot alloy wheels and new 205/70r14 tires. There are five (5) wheels and tires total, and also the original 13” spare in engine bay.

Also, included is an EJ to EA adapter plate which allows for the installation of a newer EJ series engine to the existing EA transmission. It was my intention to not only install a newer EJ engine, but also swap out the existing Single Range 4-speed for a newer 5-speed with Dual Range, to which this adapter also works.

This is a solid Brat project with great potential, but needs time and attention which I do not have. Brat is in Escondido, CA. I will not arrange shipping. Winner to coordinate pick up and trailer home. Thank you.
