1942 Studebaker Champion Coupe Ordered December 3rd 1941Vehicle was finished on December 8th1941

This 1942 Studebaker Champion Coupe - has 3 on the tree transmission & 6 cylinder L head flat head engine - car has a new - Headliner - Seat Coverings & New Foam Padding - Plexiglass Windshields - seatbelts - tires - tubes - batteries - wiring - turn signals - head lights - running lights - marker lights- interior lights - under hood lighting - tail lights - brake lights - new lithium battery powered lighting in trunk - 2 extra circuits in glove box - working siren in trunk - new under hood wiring - car converted to 12 volt - new carburetor - fuel pump - pressure regulator - plugs - wires - rotor - cap - starter relay - fuse box on firewall - alternator & bracket - 3 year battery - electronic ignition - 125 amp fuses for battery & alternator - original 6 volt horns wired in series to work on 12 volts - rare model & year - car was finished on December 8th 1941 - car was repainted & undercoated years ago -
I drove the Coupe to the gas station on 5-2-2026 & filled the tank -
Then I converted the car to 12 Volt - with a new lithium battery in the trunk, powering all new LED lighting & halogen headlights thru out the car this battery being in the trunk &separated from the also new 12 volt engine battery, with the wiring under the hood that powers the firewall fuse box - ignition coil - starter - horn - & fuel pump only -
Car will need to be towed to a mechanic to set ignition timing & adjust carburetor - plus a safety check - etc:

1942 Studebaker 2 Door Coupe in mostly original condition, &is sold as a parts vehicle, needing full restoration, Has originalbody & frame - wheels & the engine is not the original & isestimated to be a 1947 block & a 1951 Head by the numbers oneach.

Speedometer is reading 44,609 miles & not operational,also, gas gauge, temp gauge, heater,are non-working at this time:

Car was Ordered on December 3rd, 1941 & completed on December 8th, 1941then delivered to Greensville SC, where there was an Army Airbasethat opened for B-52 Bomber Training in March 1942
2nd owner, was a Korean War Veterancorporal in the US ARMY, Military Instructor, His parents builtaircraft for Lockhead during World War 2
