I'm selling my 1955 Studebaker President 2 door hard top.When was the last time you saw one of these cruising your neighborhood? These cars are few and far between. When you look at the 1953-55 Fords and Chevrolets, you'll notice how square and boxy they are. When you look at the 1953-55 Studebaker, you'll notice how futuristic and streamlined they are... Beautiful body style.
Mine is rust free (very solid body) and has been updated with a 350 cubic inch Chevrolet engine and a 350 Turbo transmission.
The car runs and drives like a champ. It has power steering, power brakes, tilt wheel, A/C, and even comes with classic Cragar S/S wheels.
It has a great-looking interior featuring bucket seats and console. It has brand-new carpet and the headliner was reworked to correct some sagging and wrinkles.
I bought new hood and trunk springs from Studebaker International, but I can't figure out how they are supposed to be installed and they are included in the sale. Also, the wipers are inoperable and I don't know why. I haven't had that checked because I don't drive my toys when it's cloudy, much less, when it's raining.
This is not a 100 point show car, but is a very nice driver and if you go to a car show or a cruise-in, chances are that you will have the only one there.
The state of Georgia doesn't require a title for older cars, so the car will be sold on a Bill-of-Sale, eBay required me to put something in the space listing entitled Vehicle Title.
