1957 Studebaker Silver Hawk Additional Info:

1957 Studebaker Silver Hawk .This is a good solid car looks like it was from out west as I didn't find any mager rust in the car. It was bought in 2/28/87 and keeped untill you buy it It was his baby and did not wont to sell it .But he is in his 80's and his helth forces the sale. I got it running again and it sounds great .It has sat for last few years because owner could not drive it any more he is in a nurseing home and still did not wount to sell It was painted back 10 years ago in a dark Blue with a silver pearl in the clear coat .When the sun hits it it realy pops out .I tryed to make it shine by buffing but the clear still wasn't gerat . So it wet sanded the top of the car ( hood top and trunk lid )and cleared it now it looks good I had to put New tires and new rims on it If you wont the stock rims and caps I can put them back on .Id did a quick tune op and fresh gas to get it running . It is not a show car but you can drive it to any show and get lots of looks and pepol will be all over it .It has a 289 V8 and a 3 speed over drive .But the owner put a top load shifter on it and a long shifthe and a over drive pull button on it . Like a truck would have to chang into Hi range . It can be changed back I might even have the parts in my stach. It could use rechrom bumpers and a few other charm parts to make it real nice.
