1965 Shelby Cobra finished in periodcorrectBlue Metallic over Black interior and correctsafetybelts. This 1 of 1 Special Cobra was built by well known and respected Gordon Chance aka 'Teenage Tuner'. Chance wasthelead Shelby American Tuner, echanic and crew chief from 1965-1967 on Carrol Shelby's Race Crew. Mr. Chance and his team built this special 1 of 1 car in honor the memory of Carrol Shelby. Upon completion to perfection Gordon Chance decided not to part with this car and has kept this Cobra in his private collection. In its entire lifetime with him it has ONLY traveled a low one owner proper 2,325 miles. It is titled as a 1965 Cobra, ot a later year re-production unit, dding to its extreme value. This is a 1 of 1 car that was built with the same hands that built the REAL $3,000,000+ Cobra's. The period correct build is stunning, eaturing the 406 Cobra V8 motor (Date Coded W-2G11 - July 11, 962), org Warner 5 speed manual transmission, aguar rear diff, nd Quick time scatter shield. Edelbrock intake/water pump, ilwood brakes with Wilwood master cylinders, lip top style radiator exhaust duct, ual side exit exhaust system with side cutoffs, oll bar, eriod correct wheels with polished lips and BF Goodrich tires, oodgrain steering wheel, lack carpeting, nd racing lap belts. Recently serviced including an oil/filter change, ransmission fluid change, ear oil change, oolant flush, nd brake fluid change. Included with the car is anORIGINALGordon Chance book that is signed by the original Shelby team members. Included in the sale is a period correctoriginalposter that was presented to Gordon Chance's mentor, ax Kelly, rew chief for the winning '66 Le Mans Ford GT. We were lucky enough to secure this special vehicle from Gordan Chance'sfamily's private collection.
